Ohio Premier 2013 Team
W 8-5 v. FSLAX Silver 2013/14 from Frederick, MD … stellar defense & double teams won this game!
W 13-3 v. Cardinal 2013/14 White from Northern VA …
L 5-7 v. Shorefire 2013 from Salisbury, MD ….great defense… too many turnovers & not enough shots on goal!
Play of the game:
Lindsey Wirtz (WRA) went for an interception at midfield, tipped the ball with the head of her stick…
Shannon Fung (Chagrin Falls) picked up the ground ball in our defensive end…
2-3 passes later… Annie Brockett (Hathaway Brown) made the shot for a beautiful goal!
We made it to the Sweet 16 seeded 7th!
Playoff Game:
L 5-12 v. Relentless Hustle 2013 from upstate New York… ouch! This one hurt! We definitely know what we need to work on!
Ohio Premier 2014/15 Team
L 6-14 v Relentless Hustle 2014 Black from Upstate New York it took the OP girls a little while to wake up…but after this game they sat together, got to know each other & ran through plays before their next game…strategy worked!
W 11-8 v Anchor Lax from Catonsville, MD
W 12-6 v Jackals 2014 from Bethesda, MD A slow start put the Jackals up by 3 before OP decided to wakeup & play! Team work, defense & some nice shots brought OP back into the game!
We made it to the Sweet 16 seeded 11th!
L 3-17 v NEMS…tough one…but a good chance to play against one of the consistently best clubs in the country!
IWLCA Champions Cup – June 10th-12th
